Assessing collaborative planning and the added value of planning support apps in The Netherlands

Although a growing body of literature has examined variety planning support systems, few studies have been conducted to understand emerging apps for mobile participation and its impact on collaborative planning. This research develops conceptual framework assessing different phases processes the added value in stakeholder interaction management. The case include four Dutch regeneration projects, which are ongoing pilot projects new Environment Planning Act supported by apps. data each study were collected from multiple sources, including policy documents, interviews with stakeholders online information. results show that engage many participants, provide real-time communication facilitate effective interactions between managers local residents.
